I only know of one other with the same configuration, it was orginally black and mine is white. My Truck's Brother had Plastic Surgery

If you can find some... let me know... I am still looking for its other brothers. All comments appreciated.

Is it the 4.10s that make it a hard find? But you got the idea Burbman...

 

I've found two members here that have a '01 burb with 8.1. I don't know what these guys have for rear ends.

How about a 2005 1500HD Crew Cab 3LT with Quadrasteer? I have seen a few extended cabs but no other crew cabs. Now even more rare is the Quadrasteer Suburbans.

What is really sad...

 

Chevrolet doesn't keep an active record of build lists specifically to the model number and options the vehicle rolled off the production line with.

 

They can tell me how many Silverados (overall) were built in 2001, when it rolled off the production line and that is about it. Nothing specific. You know, my 69 Firebird came with a body tag telling me what the options were and we are able to find out how many were actually built, option/colors specific. Chevrolet only does this with the 'Vettes now. Is Chevrolet saying there is no value in the vehicles they make unless it is a 'Vette? My truck rolled off the production line valued at 50K. Now it is viewed as just another Silverado, just bigger, reselling 40K less 5 yrs later yet still compares with the new Ford King450. How sad...

 

I suppose the only way to find this info is to keep searching the sale ads and hitting up all the vehicle specific forums.

 

BTW: I found two more trucks through the internet (which are for sale) so, that makes my truck one out of four. Anyone else having any luck?

i got a 2001 3500 dually 8.1 V8 with the allison transmission and 4.10 gears with the long box and crew cab. Mine is pewter i have pic to.

I noticed something the other day that makes mine a little more rare. The classic 2007's 3500 SRW no longer gets the overload springs.

 

I guess that makes my truck setup only available in 2005 and 2006. Not a very long production period.
