overlord1 Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 I've got a Timren SES (Suspension Enhancement System) kit part no. GMRCK25S that I would like to sell. This kit has been on the rear of my 2006 Z71 Silverado for the last two months. I bought the kit after doing a lot of research on products that help to prevent rear end sagging if you tow a trailer or carry heavy loads in your truck bed. These are rated to 6000 lbs. I towed a car carrier from Texas to North Carolina and they worked wonderfully. I won't be towing anymore so I decided to remove them and put them up for sale here. The nice thing about the Timbrens is that they do not affect the handling or ride of your truck at all when you are not towing. They only come into play after the rear of your truck has dropped about 1". Other "helper spring" type devices usually stiffen up the ride which I did not want. In my case the Timbrens kept the rear of my truck perfectly level and the handling was tremendously improved while I was towing the trailer. These are incredibly simple to install. I installed them in my driveway without jacking up the truck or removing the wheels in less than 30 minutes. You only need a couple of basic hand tools. Here is a link to the kit I bought from the place I bought them: truckspring.com. If you do any kind of towing you will be surprised at the difference these Timbrens make in preventing sag and improving the handling of your truck. I will ship the complete kit as I received it in the original box with all parts, instructions and hardware included. They are in great condition as they were on my truck for only two months and only towed with for about 10 days total. This particular kit fits several different 1500/2500 series trucks so please check the Timbren website for your specific application Timbren Website. $115 shipped in the continental USA. PayPal or money order accepted. Please email me if you are interested. Thanks. Ed [email protected]

overlord1 Posted October 8, 2006 Author Posted October 8, 2006 all mounting hardware included? were these on a Crew Cab? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, all hardware and instructions are included. These were on an extended cab truck. I believe that they also fit crew cabs but you should check the timbren website to be sure (p/n GMRCK25S). Thanks.
sbatzold Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 How much do you think your truck sagged before the Timberens and how much after?
overlord1 Posted October 10, 2006 Author Posted October 10, 2006 How much do you think your truck sagged before the Timberens and how much after? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Before the timbrems I would say it sagged 3"-4". After the Timbrens were installed it was about 1"-1.5". They made a big difference for sure.
overlord1 Posted October 11, 2006 Author Posted October 11, 2006 do you have a paypal account? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, I take PayPal. Email me and I can give you the details if you are interested.
