NEW RADIO INSTALL... BUT NOW THINGS DONT WORK???

I just had a radio installed by a stereo shop, an alpine cda-9842 in my 1996 chevy 1500. Now the blower will not switch off of the floor, and my daytime running lights do not come on. Can someone please tell me what could cause this. I have checked all of the fuses and also have tried 3 different heat control units. Please help, it's getting cold up here and I need my defrosters. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Stop making things worse to diagnose and bring it back to the place that broke it.

Bring it back to the shop...They probably disconnected a wire harness....

I am pretty sure that your air vent issue is because of a vacuum pod behind the glove box that is no longer plugged in. All those vent doors rely on vacuum and if one of those pods get disconnected, you have a problem like this. As for your daytime running light, is your switch been selected to not run them by turning all the way counter clock wise i think?
