Rear Slider Window

I need help....I have never changed a rear window before and would like to take my current one out and replace with a slider. How do you take off the existing window?????? HELPPPPPPPP

maybe reconsider the slider.

They dont look as nice as a one piece glass and are prone to break-ins.

 

Other then that, I have no experience swapping them out

People do it every day, it's no big deal

 

Just get the proper tools, do it someplace warm and take your time

I have never changed one myself but one of my friends does auto glass and i have watched.

 

i would not suggest you try this yourself. he has special tools for cutting the window out of the body. you will neew to use special adhesives to reinstall the new window.

 

What i do suggest is if you are going to spend money on a slider then get the power slider. I have one and it is one of the best options i ever installed in the truck.
