2007 Tahoe CENTER CONSOLE?!?

In the Tahoe photo gallery of Chevrolet's website they show an interior shot of the Tahoe with wood grain doors over the cup holders on the center console (similar to the lower console of the Denali or Escalade). However I have yet to see a single LTZ with this console?

They could have discontinued it or changed it out as you read the fine print, they can change equipment and options without notice.

Yeah it might have been a preproduction unit or something. It happens..

Buy a Navigator if you want wood grain. If you like it that much i did see some wood grain sticky paper at the dollar stor you might put it on the out side also.

:gmc::cheers::cheers:

They are out there. Saw a couple ship out yesterday with the wood just like the picture.

The new LTZ's that went into production this fall have the new console much like the denali with the wood grain covers. They are much nicer looking. Also the new LTZ's have a chrome grille, mirrors, and door handles. All part of a mid year update.

Are there part numbers for those updated pieces? I'm sure early LTZ owners would be interested.

Eloquently stated, but I think you overestimated your value. :crackup:

From what I've seen on another forum, the console cover is available thru Chev parts. The first P/N however was the walnut woodgrain (Yukon or Denali?). Will post correct P/N when I get it.

Be aware that while it still has two cupholders, the storage space is a lot less but neater looking.

I got one. It does have the chrome grill, mirrors, door handles and center console. I was told it is available on the LTZ only. The front compartment has a felt lined elongated cup that basically holds my pens. Could hold change but it would be difficult to retrieve. Rearward compartment is a 2 drink cupholder.

Probably one of the byproducts of pushing the Tahoe/Yukons out the door faster than earlier planned. Like the 4 speed auto coming in them right now instead of the 6 speed auto. Don't know why anyone would buy a Tahoe right now with the 6 speeds coming soonish.
