Transfer Case Problem?

I need help trying to diagnose the problem with a 99 Blazer with 80,000 miles.

 

1) Transmission appeared to be slipping. Changed the fluid and filter.

2) Blazer was ok for a couple of days.

3) Then when cold, started binding, grinding until it warms up.

4) Drained and refilled the transfer case fluid (TC was about 1 quart low).

5) Cannot accellerate without grinding, grabbing and has a locking type sensation.

6) Cannot engage Auto 4WD - light just blinks.

7) Cannot engage 4HI or 4LO - no lights come on.

Your best bet Is to take it in and have someone look at it, it sounds like a bent or broken mode sleve, fork, or shift rail, but that is just a guess
