out of gas

I ran out of gas and coasted into the station. I filled the tank, got in the truck turn the key, no starter. All the power accessaries work. Tried to jump but nothing. Does anybody know of a reset switch or something? 2003 silverado 4X4.

You may have killed your fuel pump by running it dry. Try having someone smack the bottom of the gas tank while you crank it. If it starts, it needs a fuel pump.

If the fuel pump was burned out, the truck would crank and not start. From the description it does not even crank, so some fuse or relay had to be tripped. I would disconnect the negative battery terminal for about 5 minutes to clear any possible error codes and then reconnect it.
