mandeepsandhu Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 I am about to install Infinity Kappa 60.5 cs components speakers in my 2001 yukon denali. I would like to know where is a good place to install the crossovers. I do not want to put them in the door because of rattling and moisture. I was wondering if the pillar behind the drivers seat is a good place. I tried to remove but it wouldnt move much. Didn't try to hard because I didnt want to break it. Any suggestions would help
Wingnut Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 If you're patient and crafty, you can put them up in the dash. There's enough room...Not a lot of room mind you...But I've put them up there. It really isn't bad to mount them inside the doors (that's how I did it on my '02. Stick them in there with some thick double-sided tape, then bolt them down. They'll never rattle. I beat my '02 pretty hard, and they never rattled.
