6 bolt dually?

Today i saw a home made 1/2 ton dually. it had 6 bolt rims. do you know where he might have gotten those spacers that go between the two back wheels from? it was sorta nifty and i was thinking about looking into it if i could find the right parts... any idea?

First off, welcome to the site.

I belive I've seen kits in JC Whitney for converting single wheel axles to duals, but I'm fairly certain it's only for looks, not a heavy duty application.

Tom is right about JC Whitney.  I've seen them there too.  He is also right that it doesn't increase your hauling capacity.  Your truck would still have 1/2 ton springs, rear end, etc...

I've seen those kits and don't care for them too much.  They are pretty much there for the look and not the added performance.  If you need a dually do it the right way and trade for one, don't buy that kit.
