E or D rated tires?

What are you guys running E or D rated tires? I have noticed that most of the larger (265's, 285's)D rated tires exceed the stock 245's E rating. Any suggestions?

if you want a e rated tire larger than 245 your options are somewhat limited. most of the 265 and larger are d rated, which is plenty of tire for 95% of the people out there that actualy use thier trucks. i run a d rated tire on my truck because the tires i wanted are not made in load range e for the 33x12.50x16.5 size.

D or E doesn't mean as much as the load rating. The load rating on a 265 D is higher than on a 245 E. I run a 265 E on mine because I tow max loads. If you don't haul heavy loads a 265 D would be fine and probably ride a tad better.
