body and paint warranty???????

anyone know what the warranty is for body and paint stuff? my clear coat is peeling on my 2000 silverado. called the dealer and they said they would have to look at it to see if its covered.

Probably 3yr/ 36K, I think the rust protection is 5yr/60K.

3/36 for paint issues. Rust proection requires complete rust through, i.e. a hole that rusts completely through. Net, it's unlikely they'll ever cover anything under the rust protection warranty. Also keep in mind that aluminum panels are more common (hoods, liftgates, etc.) which don't rust.
