Getting my new 2007 tahoe this week

I'm in Houston, but my dealer found me the 07 Tahoe I wanted in San Antonio and he is gonna pick it up tomorrow for me.

ebony/cashmere dash

Leather

2nd row buckets

3rd row seat

rear entertainment system

6 disc in dash mp3/cd

white letter tire

side curtain airbags

and a few extras

 

sticker - $41, 345

GM Employee pricing - $36,664

after GM rebate discount - $2,000

after dealer cash bonus - $1,000

GM Employee bonus - $500

Trade-in for 2005 GMC Sierra(20k miles) - $17,750

balance after trade in and old loan - $24,550.45

Cash Down $2,500

 

final amount financed after taxes and all: $23,307

 

 

not bad huh? I'll post some pics after I pick it up tomorrow evening/friday afternoon.

AFM?

 

 

 

 

Active Fuel Management. Unless your truck is an 07 "Classic", it will have this feature which deactivates 4 cylinders at low load to save fuel.

update after 7 months and 7k miles.

 

Still getting 21-22 on the highway, depending if its night or day. Love the tahoe, but already cracked the front windshield after a hail storm. Gonna hold off as long as possible to get it replaced. Most of my driving is in the city, where I'm getting 16-18 depending on how I drive, but on those stomping day, its about 15-17.
