Poineer Shallow Mount Subs???

Feed back on the new shallow mount pioneer subs please...

they arent that bad at all. i installed one 12" a while back in a standard cab and it sounded better than expected.

guy at a car audio place told me they hit good. I picked a 12" up and it was heavier than i had expected....the 12 was rated at 1400 watts i believe. That seems like it should hit good and the sub is totaly smooth the cone is flat and solid felt like plastic so it shouldnt bust easy. I dont know about the excursion but id guess you could put 3 in a reg cab doubt the need much air. Checked the website .5 to 1 foot of airspace for each. I do like Pioneer subs, i once had a 12" premier rated at 750/2000 watts on a 2000watt mono amp and it hit good now i have a kicker 15" L7 1000/2000 watt on a 1705watt kicker amp in my reg cab silvy. I wouldnt mind trying 4 of those out in my reg cab it wouldnt.

 

They also sale a premier version of it which cost the same and looks the same but must be better somehow
