MAF Sensor

Truck has been running bad, well kind of rough and felt like it had a miss for about a year now. Took it to the dealer and they blamed it on my exhaust, BS. That is what I though then, but began to beleive them because I never had any codes, etc. Well last week the thing started surging when cold and finally today started and died, pulled the code MAF sensor was bad. Replaced the sensor, truck idles so smooth I almost cant tell it is running. Just to let you know if you have a rough idle and have tried everything else, as I did, you may want to check the MAF. Mine looked perfect, so I never thought it was the problem.

Well problem is back. I guess it was not the MAF after all. does anyone have any other suggestions on what other things could be causing that problem?

The "Crankshaft Position Variation" may need to be relearned. Not sure if an aftermarket scan tool can do this, but the dealer can.

When you say you have tried everything else, what would that consist of?
