Magnaflow Sound Clips

I had a chance to finaly get back on to the forum and update a few things, and I wanted to share some sound clips that I've taken of the exhaust on my truck.

 

5.3L V8 Mods listed in the garage.

 

First sound clip is of the stock exhaust system, taken from a dead stop windows up, WOT Comming down the on-ramp to the Interstate.

This sound clip is of a magnaflow 5X8 Oval Single 2.5 In Dual 2.25 out, Exhaust runs straight out the back, thru 3.5" Magnaflow tips. This clip was taken with Windows up and started from a rolling stop. It was a gradual increase in speed (COULDN"T GET ON IT IDIOT IN FRONT OF ME) Then I back off the throttle completly and you can hear how quite it is at idle.

I'm headed back to the muffler shop to get the real muffler I was supposed to have installed a 5x11 Single in Dual out. I will take a WOT Full exceleration clip in the same location as the first sound clip with the 6x8 and post that up here. I will also take sound clips of the 5x11 and post them up here.

 

My findings are that the 6x8 is louder then stock, I would keep the 6x8 but I paid for a 5x11, not sure what the difference would be but I will find out in no time. Incab resonance is null in my opinion but I'm not sensitive to vibration either, the Old lady says it's lounder in the drivers seat then in the passanger seat. From her standpoint it's not too loud and I think it puts a smile on her face but she won't say it!!
