block Heater instal help??

Hey everyone, I'm new here , {dirty little secret, I drive a ford and use a ford site a ton}

but my girl friend drives a gmc and I do a lot of work on it. her truck is a 93 2500 4x4 with a new 5.7, Old one died at 160K!! any how I was installing a block heater yesterday and I am woried that the one I insaled is the wrong one?! I instaled napa part #605-1490. In the directions it said a small percentage of blocks have a hole drilled 1/16th over sized,,

I'm wondering if this truck is one of them. how would I know . At this point the heater is not leaking, but the heater did not fit as tightly as I would have thought.. I expected to realy have to push it hard to get it in, buI did not \. it sliped in rather easely.. dose any one have any exserience with these things ?? I could realy use some advice.. thanks so much J

Assuming the heater had a little screw/bolt to tighten, and you have no leaks: no worries. Tightening down that little bolt snugs things up.
