Memory Personilization Issues

Recommended Posts

I've got a 2003 Yukon and I'm having some issues with the memory seats. I have 2 FOB's but I'm the only driver so I don't use the 2nd one. I'm having a problem with my memory Seats.

The seat was working perfectly, returning exactly to its position when entering, and the exit function is turned on when I remove the key. It seems for no reason at all and all of a sudden they don't work anymore, mainly the exit function. My seat used to go back fully and down some when exiting. Now it moves a few inches back, sometimes forward! Even when I press the exit button. Is there a way to reset the personification memory features? I dont know how or where to start to fix this problem. Ay help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I believe you can try to save the exit settting just like you would save the memory seating position for driver 1 and 2... just position the seat where you want to to be during exit, and hold down the exit button for a few seconds until it beeps.

If that doesn't work, I don't know what to tell you...

Exactly right. I guess I moved my seat a small amount and accidentally held the exit button instead of the correct driver button. Thanks.
