HD leveling kit, anyone install one ?

keep reading in my 4 wheel mags about this new leveling kits for newer Chevys. Comes with 2 Blisteen shocks and 2 keys and 2 bump stops. says it keeps all working like factory with only a need for a frt end re align. cost $99.00.

Any one try it. im conserned about frt end ware out or problems and also hows the install ?

The kit allows you to crank the Torsion Bars further, just like the Ford keys. The same rules used for cranking the torsion bars apply here, too much lift using the torsion bars will throw the factory suspension geometery off, additional wear from excessive angles may happen. Also too much lift can put the suspension so far out of normal operating range that the factory range of alignment adjustment is not great enough to bring the front end back with in specs. I was able to crank my factory torsion bar keys enough that there was no longer enough adjustment in the camber to bring with in specs. I had to lower it back in order to get a proper alignment.

 

This kit can cause the same issues.

youve got a free leveling kit built-in to your truck, they called the torsion bar cam/key adjustment bolts, and they free to turn.
