Guest chevydeerhunter Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 How many musicians do we have on this forum? What do you play and tell us about your rig. I play bass and my main one is my Spector Euro 4LX. I also have a Yamaha Attitude bass. Right now, I'm playing through a Crate BT-350 head, SansAmp Bass Driver DI, Digitech BP-50 modeling pedal, Boss TU-2 tuner, Hartke 2x10 and Ashdown 1x15 cabs. I'm saving up for either a Traynor YBA200 or Ampeg SVT II or II Pro.
vindaloo Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 I play guitar, and I'm currently in a band (Whiskey Sin - www.whiskeysin.com). My rig is kinda in transition right now, but the basics are: - guitar that i built - hand-ful of pedals that i built, Whammy, Ibanez Wah, Strobo-Stomp - Randall RM-100
OUMike Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 I play guitar, but I haven't played that much in some time. I'm a lefty and a Strat fan although if I ever buy another guitar its gonna be a Carvin DC-400. Currently I own 2 guitars. 1) 1999 Fender Stratocaster. Mexican model, that I replaced the neck and bridge pickups with Seymour Duncan humbuckers. The pickgaurd on this guitar was custom made because of the availability of hum-single-hum for lefties. 2) 1995 Fender Stratocaster. All American. All Original. Very cool. I also have an interest in fretless guitar. Kinda like to jam on one. If you've ever heard Tim Donahue's Madman and Sinners album you know what I'm talkin' aobut.
Giant Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 was in band in middle/High school and played Baritone Sax. YEAH... I'm a GEEK!!!
ratchet Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 I play drums, just for fun though. It's a good stress reliever. They are stock pearl exports. Been playing drums for 15 years.
Wingnut Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 I play the piano like it's going out of style.
Chestah Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 Personally I lean towards Banjo and Mouth Organ death metal solos.
pwall Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 The only musicial instrument that I can play is the stereo. Sorry, couldn't resist. ;)

Guest chevydeerhunter Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 I'm a big fan of Tool. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah I dig me some Tool also. Paul D'Amore and Justin Chancellor's bass sound really gives them a distinctive sound.
Chestah Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 Yeah, Justin Chancellor is a master. Also, Danny Carey is quite possibly the best drummer alive.
