'07 Hits the mark

I stopped the other night with my little boy and took a look at an '07 Silv crew cab all decked out. The door was not locked so I got to look over it pretty good but it was dark.

I was impressed with the truck overall especially the fit of the doors. The thing sounded like a vault when you closed the doors. I will stop back and take a look in the daylight but I was impressed.

I am sure Toyota will sell a good many of the new Tundra simply because some people feel it is the "popular" thing to do to buy "foreign". But I say, Toyota better "pack their lunch" as they are now entering territory they have never been in before. I am sure they have done their homework and learned from the mistakes Nissan made.

I will have to say, I like the new GMC and Chevrolet and really like Chevrolet's new Moto. This is our Country, This is our Truck. :D

I keep telling you guys to go sit in one...They're a real cut-above. :D

Time will tell on the stupid things like steering rattle and slip-yoke, but those aren't deal breakers for me anyhow.

Not sure about the W/T's though. I haven't seen one, and a great many people just want the bare bones.

Well said C & A. I'm really curious to see how the sales pan out when the new Toyotas hit the market. There is certainly a lot of hype (perhaps well founded) surrounding them. This is not too dissimilar to the 'New' Titan coming to the market and how it was going to revolutionize the industry with its standard V8s and spray in liners and lockable in bed storage, ect...fast forward a couple years and they have been a huge flop from a corporate / fiscal standpoint. Speaking in generalities, the pickup crowd is not the same breed as your Starbucks sipping prius driver.
