If you are looking for anything BUT a mild mannered daily driver. Then the HotCam would suffice. It is not a tame cam. Plus you will need a new TQ converter for that cams powerband. On another note, the LS6 cam is flat out lame for a big, heavy truck. Not a good idea. That cam was designed for a platform as light as a Vette. And your truck weighs ALOT more than a Vette. You do not need different rockers at all. Stockers are fine. Now for some cam principles. The 6L of course has some cubes on the LS1. So any cam used in that or a 5.3 will seem "smaller" in a 6.0. Cubes eat cams! Power characteristics of one cam in a 5.3 versus a 6.0 will be MUCH different. Anyways, is towing all you do with this truck?

Comp 212/218 .522/.529 114 - Good cam in a 6L, used alot. I had this one in my old 5.3

Comp 216/220 .525/.532 114 - Little more duration, will make more upper RPM power

Thunder 220/220 .551/.551 114 - Bit more aggressive cam, will RIP, need tuning!

Im a big fan of reverse split and single pattern cams. Bear in mind it does NOT take alot of lift on the Exh side to flow hot exhaust gas. Ive seen reverse cams make some awesome TQ in a 6.0.
