Does Armor All Dry Out Dash?

I was looking at an auction for some Enzo Ferrari or something, and it specifically stated that it had never been armor-all'd, I'm guessing there is something about it.

On some materials it almost has the effect as if you wash something black and throw a cup of bleach in the wash. A black/dark grey dash gets really ashy looking. I've seen it happen to cars not even 3 months old.

Back when I first started detailing cars, I saw that Armor All was a thin whiteish liquid. It didn't take me long to realize that it was the reason tires didn't stay glossy black very long with it.

What do I use for dash tops now? Meguiars Quick Detailer for interior. It cleans, doesn't leave a glossy finish (which I can't stand since you get a huge glare), and it has a UV protectant in it to maybe protect against sun damage.

I use the 303 protectant for all my interior stuff, as well as the tonneau cover. Unfortunately, when it rains, the stuff will leave straks where the snaps on the tonneau are, down the sides of the fenders. But the truck is a little over 6 years old, and no signs of cracked dash.
