hi, the truck is a 2001 gmc sierra 1500 with a 4.8l. this code keeps on coming back on, something to do with the F terminal ckt. Is there any common places for the wire to rub through or rot through? alternator or possibly pcm? thanks!

I would start with an alternator.

  Get a code reader that can scan for airbag system codes and start there. Codes give you clues/diagnostic points.

  Any way of getting a picture of the top of your pistons? It would be cool to see how clean it is inside. Here is one of the #1 piston on our 2016 Suburbans 5.3 with 114k miles on it. Just use BP 93 and when I can E85 with the occasional AMSOIL P.i. use.
