XM Roady XT Install on a 2000 Blazer

Hi All,

Picked up an XM roady xt for the wifes 2000 blazer. I was hoping that someone out there could answer a few questions:

I plan on picking up the FM direct adapter to plug the XM reciever directly into the FM antenna. Do I have to pull the dash and radio to access the antenna wires in the back?

Is there a better alternative to the FM direct adapter? Not sure if there are any RCA input on the back of the factory radio.

Any pieces of advice on overall installation?

Thanks,

Chris

i used one of the direct adapters in my 1997...works alot better than just using the FM modulator...your still using the the fm modulator but it works way better

u will have to pull the stereo to install it

After some more searching I came across XMFan.com. They had all of the answers to my questions.

BTW the radio in the blazer has an unused Aux input so I think I'm going to get one of the Aux adapters and hook it in through there.
