I have an 05 sierra. My cd player recently stopped accepting cd's. I know there is nothing jammed in it. Anyone else have this problem?

You probably need a new radio. Fairly common problem.

I was trying to find a GM stereo on line. Would it be better just to get an after market stereo ?

Since it is an '05, is it still under warranty? If so let your dealer deal with the headache.
