Nice... another set of NON OEM HID's to blind on coming traffic.  :)

hey, i have a set of mitsubishi evo headlights sitting here with projectors, and oem hids.... how bout if i send my stock headlights to ya, and you can go ahead and retrofit those in there for me... ok?

99-00 didnt come with hids, and this is the closest im gunna get without cutting up my composite headlights. besides, i know how to aim headlights, and i know where the cutoff line needs to be.

thanks.

...or you could just drive using the LEGAL OEM headlights? Or, purchase a car that was designed to have them...

The last thing I want is to have people like you coming down the street blinding every person on the road.

I guess using your logic I could just go buy (2) 5 million candle power spot lights and strap them to my grill.... who cares about the on coming traffic, right? /rant off

I dont mean to be a complete a-hole about this, but I'm sick and tired of the rice boys around here that buy the kits you talk about and completely blind on coming traffic because it "looks cool".

If your headlight assembly is not designed for HID's - DO NOT USE IT. The lighting pattern is completly different from halogen bulbs. Trust me, I've seen plenty of car's with these junk kits. They stand out a mile away - literally!

ok, seriously....

i work at a bodyshop, im a frame/body tech.

ive aimed more lights than you can imagine possible.

i did take into consideration the fact of the non hid housings, and the glare.

but have you ever seen the 99-00 denali housings? they are set up identical to the 2006 volvo suv, clear lens, no lines, A BAFFLE THAT COVERS THE BULB, and the beam pattern comes out clear... no glare, no blinding, they even have a cutoff line that sits at 3 feet from 5 feet away.

i can sit here and argue with you all day long, but i think we are both a$$holes, and be both think we are right.

.....and dude.... im nothing even close to a ricer... im all about model a's, and chopped and channeled sleds.. c'mon now!

i know a thing or two.

Well it does sound like you didn't just slap in the bulbs and ballasts, like 95% of the people do - especially around here. I've seen so many "non projector" HID swap's turn out like crap... no cut off at all. Good luck with your setup!
