Lifting 07 classic crew cab question

I was told from a pretty reliable source that does a lot of lifts on trucks, and he told me to go with the 1 tone torsion bars and keys to lift and level the truck. Has anyone heard of this. I have heard alot of pro's and con's about just doing the torsion keys.

torsion keys and tightening the torsion bars will give it a stiffer ride...done with my truck...unless you get new torsion bars with a new spring load...which i am looking for
