hd is missing

i have 13,000 miles it has been sitting for a while went to use it last night and at a red light it miss's and one have this problem its the 6.0

I've never had that problem with mine.  It has almost 3600 miles on it and the longest it has sat since new was about 3 days with out being driven.  Does it still do that or was it just the one time?  Was the engine to full operating temp yet?

 

There may be an update available for the computer.  I've had my engine and tranny both updated at the dealer since I got my truck.  The engine update was to eliminate a "stumble" I had at 1400-1600 rpm.

it still does it cold or warmed up i got to take it to the dealer monday to see what the deal is ill let you know

Is it a miss or a hesitation as you accelerate from the light?

 

If it is the later, which Shane referred too, there is a PCM re-flash available for this.

 

If it is a miss, you'll need to get a scanner on board to see what is happening when the miss takes place.

Have you got the motor compartment wet anytime in the near past?  A liitle water in the wrong place could offer many problems.  I'm not sure why it would miss like this ask GM and see what they think of the situation.
