TURBO'D 305 V-8

Hello all. I have an old 1988 K1500 that I am about to rebuild. I have 3 or 4 good used turbochargers siting around and am going to put one on it after the rebuild. (IF it will work) Anyone know how to make the computer understand that it has been turbo'd and not run in lean mode all the time? Allready had plans on geting a Jet Preformance stage 2 chip. But I somehow do not think that will be enough. I have rebuilt and workd on a few Diesel motors, and those are all I really am interested in. But this 'ol gasser 305 is whats in my work truck, so I'm gona see what I can do with it. Will the injectors need to be changed? The turbo will put out somewhere between 15-18 psi.
