add ipod input to 2007 bose 6 CD system

I have a 2007 Silverado Classic Ext Cab with a Bose 6 CD system. I would like to know if it is possible to add or enable an AUX input for an ipod. I believe that the unit has source input for a rear seat DVD system (which I do not have). I am hoping to use this input for an ipod input. Is this possible? If so can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks, David

Dav, do a search, but don't add the year of your truck. I remeber seeing on here that someone did this.

You can get the head rest DVD players, that way they can watch 2 different movies at the same time.

I have added a portable unit from Target, 2 flat screens with one remote player. I didn't want it hard wired in my truck as my wife moves it to the car as well... but I ran a wire for the RCA plug, I run the sound output through my USA Spec Ipod adapter and use the truck speakers. My 4 year old doesn't like the head phones yet.

Yah, but he stated he has an Ipod. why not use the radio controls and sterring wheel controls to operate the iPod. Then add the RCA cable for the DVD player?

1. He did not say he wanted to add a DVD player.

2.This will add aux. inputs for ipod. (which he asked for)

3.On mine it did add aux. feature to the factory mode button.(not familiar with Bose)

4.Thats why I suggested to call Troy because I know he can help him.(I'm just trying to)
