metallitruck Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 My Sierra 2500hd came with 245/75 R16's on it which kind of look ridiculous on a large truck let alone the sierra's exaggerated wheel wells. I do not want any lift but do want larger tires under it as I have got my use out of the factory tires. Any suggestions on what would look good.... Thanks in advance! JR
Truckin2003 Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 my 03 had 245's on it. i just got tires put on about a week and half ago and the guy actually recommended 265's to put back on. he said that the ride would be so much better. It is actually a better ride now. and the 265 fit and look nice.
ZZ327 Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 they all come stock with 245s Ive seen quite a few go for 265s-285s.
Needgasmoney Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 I just put some LT265 on my 03 2500HD after wearing out the stock LT245, and it's the best apperance and ride mod that I've done. Go for it.

JR I just went to the Michelin LTX 265 rather than the 245, looks better and they drive very nice. I had these same tires on my Suburban, they had 40,000 miles when I sold it and the buyer commented on how good the tires still looked. I would and did buy these again. Good Luck, The 285's look even better yet but are taller and will affect your power on a gas engine.
