Install differential actuator

I am installing a new differential actuator, and they say to run the brown wire to the transfer case and I cannot seem to figure out where it connect to. Please help me if you know where to find a diagram for this procedure, it is not in my manual.

i don't have a diagram but over time all the wires tend to all look black. clean the wires makes it easier to find the brown wire.

Sounds like you are retrofitting the newer style stepper motor type actuater in place of the original thermal type actuater. If so, you need a wiring harness that your dealer should have sold you with it. It has a wiring diagram and instructions for the retrofit. Easy job, I did it under a truck stuck in a ditch in a snowstorm, 1/2 hour.
