Best cold air intake for the money?

I am going to buy the AEM Brute Force. The only reason why I would ever buy the Volant CAI would be to get the front plastic valence.

The problem is that you lose functionality of your tow hooks. Dang it, the picture is screwed up.

If your engine is stock the MAF & air intake will support 8.1L unless you want more noise & less filtering. The OEM is a fresh air intake.

Eventhough I have a Trueflow unit, I will agree with Redvett, the OEM unit pulls cold air from the fenderwell area. The TF unit retains the factory air box but replaces the tube.

I have noticed that GM has redsigned the OE tube a couple of times since my 02 was produced. It could be the OE tube on the '07 is as efficient as they get. I know they look more streamlined than the OE tube on my 02. That thing was as big and ugly as a elephant.
