Is mirror change possibe?

I have a 2007 GMT-900 silverado with the heater outside power mirrors. I want to change them to the mirrors with directional signals. Is it possibe? The person at the parts counter at the dealer said it was not possible because of a "wiring harness". But he was not very confidence inspiring and sounded like he was guessing.

You may change your mind when you see how much those mirror assemblies cost. I think they are like $700 each. I have them on my Denali and had the others on my last Suburban. I think the guy was telling you the truth because the ones I have power fold close as well and that is a whole different door switch assembly. It is probably all plug and play stuff so you might call a GMC dealership or a Cadillac dealer because those guys work on them frequently. Hope this helps.
