Factory Order Silverado Classic??

I'm having a tough time finding a 2007 Silverado 1500 Classic in my area with the options I want. One dealer was all set to make a factory order for me but two other dealers said this is not possible for the Classic. Somebody is wrong. Can anyone here give a definitive answer?

I would find it extremely difficult to believe you could order a factory built classic at this point.

I was told that the classic had stopped production in 06 when i asked.

Classic is out of production. You cannot order one. Why you would want to order one is well beyond me? The new trucks are SO NICE!

Yep,Too late to order a "Classic" now.

As a matter of fact most,if not all,of the plants are done building the "Classic's" and have already switched over to building the GMT900's.

i think the only classic you are going to find out there are pretty much as is vehicles, when i went to buy mine in november i had to take pretty much what they had, i couln't even get 4x4 because they didn't have any on the lot and either did any other dealers within a 500mile radius, i looked at the nbs but could not afford the payments on a nbs with 4x4 the payments were way over 600 bucks a month, but i like my truck i have been stuck so many times in the snow with it that i am getting used to it now.
