04 Sierra front bumper

I have an 04 Sierra, and I hate how the front bumper looks where the air holes are in the middle. The plastic inserts that hold the lower fascia in place are very visible, and in general it looks unfinished to me. Are there any easy ways to add an insert inside the bumper to make things look more tidy? I have seen some inserts similar to grill inserts that cover the holes, but I kinda want something that lays down horizontal behind the holes and leaves the holes open???

I used some foam rubber mat stuff, I think it looks pretty good.

My vmax has some kind of black plasicky, rubbery, kind of mat sort of thingy in there. It looks alot like your idea.
