I just installed a cb radio in my 2000 2500 silverado ext. cab pickup. I have a 12 in rubber antenna on my bed rail. When ever I turn to channel 19 and key up the mic and talk into it my security light instantly comes on and stays on until i restart my pickup then it goes away. It only does this when it is on channel 19. It also has a pa system hooked up and it never comes on when I talk into it. Is it possible that I am matching somekind of frequency and sending that security light to come on????

  Of course that would be false. You could have had one welded into your stock pan if you could find someone who did TIG welding.

  I was recently given a cheap winch for my trailer and I’m going to build a front receiver hitch so that I can use it on my truck also. It is a 13,500lb Sinoking winch with synthetic rope and wireless remote. It is mounted on a Badland hitch mount. The lower plastic was removed from my truck several years ago when I built a custom tube framed skid plate for it. The hitch will be tucked up close to the bumper and hopefully I can add a 2” square tube to the back of the skid plate to fit it into the hitch to hide the hitch when it’s not being used. More pictures to come.

  Hi All, I am curious whether using the dashboard display for transmission fluid temperature is considered acceptable when setting the transmission fluid level after a pan drop, filter replacement, and fill. I have a 2021 gas/6L90. Thanks

  Every place on the hi-way is up , lowest is the truck stop, $3.93/ 87, the others haven't broken the $4 barrier yet but getting damned close. Lowest diesel $5.73. I haven't checked local yet but I bet they are over the $4 mark. I've been shopping for a type C motorhome and trying not to buy a Ford, found a couple diesels but the price of fuel is scary
