New Lift !

Just got truck back , They tucked my 6" pro comp kit in and tossed on the tires and rims..I have a cowl hood coming and will get better pics when I get read door replaced and hood done !

I was going to pull the running boards , but I would have to hard a tome getting in !

 

Rear sits at 44.5 lip to ground , front is at 43.5 and needs adjustment to match rear . .

Pro Comp Full drop 6" lift With front drive shaft for auto track system

I got a steal , New in 6 boxes 840.00 shipped to door .

Paid 600 to install it

Pro comp 1079 Wheels and lugs 16x8 , 4" back spacing $400.00 Shipped to door

35" Pro comp A/T tires 50k warranty 550.00 shipped to door.

 

Total for all in pic , $2390.00

 

Still yet to do , Steel Cowl hood (good mark) Another deal 218.00 new in box with 99.00 shipping

 

In 2 weeks Ill have the rear door , rocker and hood done and new pics..Today i remover Roof rack so I can fit into garage LOL... There is about 1/4 inch clearance between the truck and rubber door gasket !

YA some what shocking I know . .

 

I am a member at GMFS forums and was told about this ad.

 

6" Pro-Comp lift 00-06 Chevy tahoe

I am selling a 6" inch full drop suspension lift for the 00-06 model year tahoe 4x4. The kit is sitting in my garage brand new still in the unopened boxes. It includes a new front driveshaft and shocks. the price is $800 bucks and I will pay for shipping.

 

I was so shocked at price I got him to ship it COD ups and I split shipping cost with him because it was a bit more of a hassle, BUT Protected me from a potential scam because I do not know the guy.

 

So I paid 840.00 ! ! Funny how things worked out , because in the end I paid ZERO for everything..I was hit in January , Look at the first pic I linked to , The rear door and rocker where crushed in,,I took it to my insurance and they wrote me a check for a pretty high amount with out a single word or request from me at all,,When I looked at total I was like OH MY GOD !

 

AT that point I made the decision to shop for a lift kit , and when all is said and done including the body work , cowl hood , lift , tires and rims I will have change left over . . . Which covers the Wait4metune , and my insurance payment for the year ..

 

I have never been lucky per say , but with this truck which I paid 11,350 for in 06 with 80k on it I have to admit luck seamed to sneak over and stay a short while for me !

thats awesome, it looks great. and you had it done for cheap. i know i am jealous. hows the pro comp kit ride and feel? we'll be lifting a buddys truck, would you recomened the pro comp kit?

As far as I can tell the ride is real close to factory , smooth and soft , BUT when i hit pot holes or other good sized road bumps it is defiantly more stout and firm.. I think mainly from the tires as there a lot heavier and stiffer then the factory tires.

 

The kit , ya I would recommend it I love it , the alignment specs where easily set to perfect , and the axle angles are perfectly flat , I am at 44.5 on all wheel well lips and total height is 83 and 3/4" making it as big as it looks ,, When I park next to a "Soccer Mom" Tahoe I am more then a complete mirror taller and look like a Man's Tahoe now !

 

Exactly what it should look like for a Roofing company owner !
