Old Rims On Nbs

Anybody know if the old style rally rims in 16" would fit on a 2002 Z71. they are 6 bolt rims...think they would look really good if painted right.

Not sure but I'd like to pull 17 in rims from a 06 Chevy to my 07 and have the air pressure system still function.

I think it would depend on if you had rear discs or drums. I'm not sure if GM started putting the big rotors on 1/2 tons that early but I know at least 2005 up required minimum 17" rims to clear the front rotors cause of the rear drums. Other than that it should bolt up fine as the bolt pattern is the same for all GM vehicles going way back to the 60s or 70s (My 80 K-10 is 6 lug and would fit my Colorado's 6 lug spare tire more or less ok, tight up front cause of the manual locking hubs).

My son tried to put the old rally style rims from a 1998 Chevy on his 2002 Silverado. The rear disc will not clear.

We tried to put the American Racing wheels from my '88 on a '99 and they wouldn't clear front or rear calipers.
