Servicable Fuel Filter & Pcv?

I can't find the fuel filter or PCV on my 05 Denali, and there is no mention of either in the owner's manual. My 01 & 03 Suburbans 8.1L had a fuel filter along the driver's side frame rail, but no PCV either. Did GM move the fuel filters or are they not servicable (located in the gas tank?)???

03 was last year for servicable fuel filtrs. Now they are in tank.

Aaah, but one expensive filter to change when you need to do it.

PVC is fixed orfice. No moving parts. Jeep has had the returnless system since 1998 like GM does and rarely do they have a problem with the pumps.

True. I guess nobody knows yet how well these in tank socks will last. My wife has a 2000 Honda and it has one and so far no problems. Knock on wood!!

I would imagine they are good for at least 100,000 miles like pretty much every other maintenance item. But if it does go, hope my warranty is still good, cuz like everything else, it won't be cheap.

03 was last year for servicable fuel filtrs. Now they are in tank.

 

 

I have an 04 Suburban with the filter on the drivers side frame that I have changed.

I traced the fuel lines, and I cant find a filter anywhere. It must be in the tank. I dont even see a clear place for it. The fuel lines are tucked tightly along the frame.
