Well tonight i get a call from my friend that hes at the mall getting some contact crap. So i tell him i will meet him there. So i jump in the Trailblazer and head over. I park by his dads 2004 Yukon XL (see our race vs a Honda Pilot lol) So we eat some pizza and he decides hes gonna follow me home. So we play cat and mouse and floor it everywhere lol and follow each other, and when we hit the last stop light before my house we are side by side. Hes over there bein a dick, revvin his engine and crap and sayin hes gonna walk me and im like "we'll see." so i make sure no cops, then it turns green and we go. We are pretty much side by side until the TB shifted into second and pulled away from him up until about 60mph before i shut it down.

 

Well needless to say i obliverated him. BUT he has a lot more weight and a lot more truck haha. But i can only imagine that 5.3 in the WB TB. I bet that thing flys.

 

Oh well, good race haha

Mine is about 4800 + me...So...5,000 or so.

Yea, around 4800-5000.

 

Its a lot less car than a Yukon XL but i was surprised at the results haha

Hmmm....I wonder if the person I work with who has a TB wants to have a run a lunch?

 

Not to go down a tangent, but up here in Ottawa, they're cracking down on street racing. If you're caught, it's a week suspension of your license and possibly your car, and even perhaps as a fine as $10,000 (depending on the case of course). So maybe I won't be looking for any TB anytime soon.

Yea, its pretty even. His truck is stock and my TB is tuned. He definatly gets a good jump off the run but i reel him in badly.

 

We ran again tonight on the way to my house and i got him off the line and kept pulling.

 

Both times we only ran to the speed limit.

 

And yea, i know what you mean about street racing. They dont crack down as much here. Plus i think with the mods your Yukon XL has it should take a stock TB any day of the week.

Thats funny cops really do come down hard on ricers. especially here in Reno we have alot of hot rods driving around in the summer a good number of them arent even close to street legal, but the cops dont mind as long as its a sick lookin rod
