Stupid Driving Light Question

I know this is stupid, but my passenger driving lamp burned out on my 2002 Silverado. I can feel the wiring connector, but I am not sure how it comes out to change it and I don't want to break it. Can someone tell me how to get it out of there??

Thanks!

Not exactly sure about replacing it. I replaced my neighbors awhile ago on his 00. You have to remove the headlight (not complicated) by taking out the pins above the headlight. Then you can access the back of the driving lights through the empty space. There are detailed instructions in the owners manual. Look under headlight replacement or bulb replacement. It sounds difficult but really isn't that complicated.

I am not sure on an 02 but my 04 Tahoe is easy.

1. Pull the pins on the headlamp and lift headlight assy out.

2. there are two clips on either side of the blinker/DRL assy, take the one closest on the radiator side and push in to release, pull the light box towards you and it will release on the fender side.

With the two cables exposed, simply turn the socket and it will release and the entire light comes out.

Replace the bulb with your choice of bulbs....I just installed sylvania ambers (looks very cool) and put it all back together.

Should take less than 20 minutes for the whole deal...that's on an 04...not sure on 02

Same. I just had to replace the sockets for the DRLs......I would lose one light after replacing bulbs. Also noticed a different bulb number when I got them from the dealer.....maybe cooler bulbs?
