anyone have exhaust coming out in front of passenger side tire? pics?

I think you can only have them before the rear on standard cabs, so you dont burn your legs getting something from the backseat of an extended cab, not sure. I have the side outlets behind the rear wheels, and I think the straight pipes out the back look better than mine

sorry i guess my descripsion should just say side exit, not side pipes

the rear door opens no where close to the rear tire, i'm also going to mount the tips more flush with the body i think.

I think it will look bada$$, I just have 3 & 1-1/2 year old boys to think of with the truck running in winter, and them standing waiting to get in

IMO, this will make the truck looked "hacked" and cheesy. Please don't ruin the classy looks of a NBS GMT900. What possible advantage can doing this give? Dual exhaust out the back looks OK, but what you are planning reminds me of what people did in the 70's and 80's when they would run their own new exhaust and simplified it by not having to go around the rear axle. I'm not even sure where one can find metal coathangers anymore anyways? :D

its for my 2000, i don't have the pleasure of owning a gmt900.

i was thinking of using camaro rectangle style tips, magna flow #35150?

ractive #t824b black tips, i know no one that has those on a truck.

I forgot how many times I got burned on these LOL and the poor girls always forgot they were there when they jumped out

Send me a good pic of your truck and a pic of the type of tip you are thinking about and I'll Photoshop it on there for you so you can see it. Not advocating it, just willing to help you see it first. I don't think you're going to like it. That is just my opinion, however.

Here's mine. Its a GMT900 but you get the idea. Regarding the camaro tips, my guy wouldn't install the magnaflow rectangular tips I wanted because there wasn't room for the bend. I don't know the older bodystyle's spacing but that was my experience.

those look mean, the tips look like a different color?

are you happy with the sound?

Thanks. The tips are have a black chrome finish on them. I'm planning on a colormatch blackout so I went with those when he suggested them. I am happy with the sound. I hope they get louder though still. I only have 600 miles on it so I'll have to wait and see.

Here's the clip:

Here you go. Sorry, they aren't the best but I couldn't find a good pic of the tip at any appropriate angle so I had to mess with the ones I could find. Best I could do quickly while at work. I hope this is what you were looking for.

perfect daddy thx a lot, i think the dual tips are the way to go. if i go with a shorter muffler then stock and move it ahead it will give the pipes enough room for the bends i think.

Agreed. If you do it, go with the duals. You might want to measure real quick though as I had to make assumptions as to size and fit. I'd think it would make it but i don't want to mislead you by my images as I was merely taking a guess.

Daddy.
