Just Lost A Light Bulb In My Hvac Controller...

Is it possible to replace these bulbs or am I going to have to look into getting a whole new controller? I've got the dual climate control (non-digital) version.

 

I've now lost two interior light bulbs in this truck that has less than 60,000 miles. This is getting pretty frustrating. my '98 Tahoe went 196,000 without losing a light bulb, so this is all new to me.

If you are handy with a soldering iron the bulbs can be replaced. If not buy a new controller.

Yep, just like the radio back lights on the 95-99's if you are good with tiny light bulbs and a soldering iron, you are good to go!

I just had to replace 2 burnt out bulbs in my radio. I'm not sure if the bulbs are the same type but if they are you can use the Radio Shack # 272-1092 bulb. It wasn't all that hard to do.

Hey how's it going? I have the same problem with my lights on the HVAC controller. It's a 2001 1500. Where do I look for a number of the bulb or is it a standard bulb? Thanks for any hints
