Terribly Annoying Interior Squeak ...

Hello all ...

 

My truck has developed a very annoying squeak that seems to be coming from the area where ther front and rear doors meet. It seems to be most evident when I go over a bump. I found a road where it sqeaked repeatedly and did some tests.

 

With the passanger side door held open the squeak is gone. With it closed the sqeak returns. It seems to be coming from the top latch where the doors meet.

 

A few days agao I armoralled the weather stripping in an attempt to curb the squeaking. I thought it worked but the sqeak returned.

 

Does anybody have any ideas as to what could be causing this and how to get rid of it?
