Eagle One

Well I used this stuff a while ago, maybe 2 weeks, but I remember it like yesterday so here it is. I bought some Eagle One Nano paste wax, it's one of the more expensive paste waxes, but costs less than Mothers, which is what Im going with when Im out of this stuff. For the negatives, I'd have to say the applicator pad isn't the best, I'd reccomend buying your own. Its foam, kind of small, but it does the job. The wax went on nice and smooth. My main upset with this wax was the removal process. It seemed like it was sticky, like I had to go over the area a few times to remove all the wax (YES it was dry) :) Im not sure what that was all about, but after the pain in the ass removal, it did have a great shine. Anyone else try this stuff? How was removal?

By any chance, did you put the wax on too thick? Also, if you did not first clay bar the paint, all the gunk stuck in the paint can make taking the wax off more difficult. But still, if it was that difficult to get off, I'd say your assessment is probably accurate.

Haven't tried the paste, but the liquid spray is also hard to remove. The bulk layer comes off with little rubbage, but it leaves a film that takes 2 or 3 laps of the vehicle to remove totally. And even than it stays on somewhat, so that when you wash the truck again it smears.

It does, however, leave one hell of a shine, and fills in minor swirl marks well. I use NXT most of the time, but If I just want to do a quick wax I use the nanowax.

hmmm normally when a wax is hard to remove .. it either isn't dry enough .. or it is to dry ... or the car / truck's body was to hot .. and it has 'baked' it in place some ...

also, what you are using to remove it can make a difference ...

i haven't used an eagle one product in a while ... loved their 'wet' liquid wax when it came out tho ...

I've used this stuff before and I agree it is a bit harder to get off, but not all that bad. I also agree with the nice shine and does a great job filling in the swirl marks and light scratches.

For me it doesn't seem to last long. A high quality wax should be good for at least 3-4 months, but this stuff seems like it is done after 2 months.

Now I use Meguairs crystal system which is a 3 step process and I'm going to introduce NXT as the 3rd step in between step 2 (polish) and step 3 (caranuba) the next time I wax. I hear this gives a really good long lasting shine.

I've never used the paste or the liquid but I have used the spray wax and I love to use it between waxes, All you do is spray and wipe, no hazing just light buffing. They also have a nano polish that works awesome on rim/exhausts/bumpers.
