Anybody hear about the Greyhound accident??

Some guy slashed a Greyhound drivers throat this morning onh a bus from Nashville to Atlanta, causing the bus to wreck.  At least 4 people killed, but some sources are saying 10 or more killed.  Among them were the driver and the attacker.

Supposedly this wasnt related to the terrorists.  The guy kept asking what time it was to the driver and for some reason went up to him and slashed his throat\

I heard about it on the radio a little while ago.  I don't know, all the weirdos seem to be coming out now.

I heard it as well it was really shocking.. Another situation where innocent people died for what?  I send my wishes out to the people who were involved in the accident!

 

I know its getting really bad here.. We went to the C.N. Tower with some people who are visiting from England and Australia and when we got in there and if you have any bags or anything they pull everything out and check it.. My mom and sisters purse were pulled all out and searched, my friends camera bag was pulled out and taken apart and searched as well.. Only thing they didnt do is pat you down.. *that will be next!*

I know that when we were in line there were tons of tourists with lots of baggage with them so they had to pull everything out and look through it..  I love going to the C.N. Tower once or twice a year to get some nice photos but if this happens i just wont bother going its insulting..  Loyal paying customers do not need to be treated like criminals.. !

I heard this morning that the bus driver who's throat was slashed had survived.  5 passengers died and the guy who attacked the driver died when the bus crashed.  He hit the windshield.

 

It's really tragic that people will do things like this.  I know it's not a perfect society we live in but we've seen the best and worst out of people after the tragedy of septemeber 11th

Isn't sad that every public place will eventually be like that?  Maybe not now, but I imagine a world were we all go through metal detectors to get to work, go to football games, get on planes, and just about every other public place you go to, even stuff like McDonald's.  Its really quite sad that its going to have to come down to this.  This world just keeps getting more disgusting as time goes on.  To think, I thought I was entering the golden age of technology.....instead just a never ending war against terrorism, that will not be obliterated in my time....

I don't know about carrying guns is really going to help the problem, I think it will more or less add to it.  You've got a lot of angry people who, if you gave them guns, would have an itchy trigger finger.  Right now anyone who is middle-eastern is targeted just for that fact.  A lot of racism is going on and I think that more guns doesn't help a problem like this.
