Bear with me as I ask painfully obvious questions in the future

 

Here is my truck:

I just got the truck a couple of weeks ago to finally satisfy my hunger for an older truck, so here is all I know about it so far:

 

--383 Chevy, Holley Contender intake, Eldebrock 600, HEI (that's about all I know so far)

--TH-350 w/decent shift kit (unknown stall)- NP205 Transfer Case

--Gears unknown (will know shortly when I flush the differentials)

--35 X 12.50 BFG's (I can't place those wheels, so I don't know who makes them, they look almost like Weld Scorpio's, but they aren't)

--Exhaust is slightly over stock, still got stock exhaust manifolds on it with some Sonic Turbo's (real quiet)

--4" supension lift (guessing Rancho cause of the shocks on it)

 

Over all it's pretty much a stock body, both gas tanks are still on it and they work, still has column shift, tilt, factory tach, it had some rusty chrome tube grill on it that someone had mounted upside down - I already brillo padded it and flipped it right side up.  I had to fix some minor electrical problems with it (tail lights, heater switch, bad ground on right front lamps)

 

Future mods (not near future, Christmas and all) in no order:

* Headers

* 24" Glasspacks with 24" echo tubes (I'm from the south, I love noisey trucks )

* Somewhere down the road I'll "re-lift" it with probably a 6" Skyjacker

* 2 sections of the floor have rust spots on them and a couple of other spots around the body

* I'll freshen the motor up one day, but for now it still runs pretty strong and I think the headers will help out a bit.

* Various other knick-knacks I'll find to spend money on

 

That's all I can think of right now.
