Mystery Center Console

Hey all I have got a console mystery, I have a 01 silverado ext cab with a burb 02-03 center seat. In my truck OEM I had the fixed center seat. At my job, our shop was outfitting a couple of our new burb rescues and took out their center seat which folded. Now a couple years later it has ripped. I've gone to the dealer and they have no clue how to get it, what part number it is or anything . The seat only folds down and does not open, it is GM pleather(pewter), with a smooth top. Any help in finding this would be great- Thanks Chris

Go to Ebay and find a Suburban of that year....And write down the VIN from the auction...Take that to the dealer and use it to look up parts.

If they can't handle that...Go to a different dealer because yours seems to have staffed the parts counter with monkeys.

Like Wingnut said,A VIN from one of the Suburban's would narrow it right down for me,I did come up with a part number of 88977366,It's for RPO color code "92D" and RPO seat code "AE7".

Thanks for the info and good ideas and no the part counter isn't staffed by moneys..............evryone knows the part counter is staffed by a platypus
