Squeaky Springs

Hi All,

My leaf springs are squeaking really bad, especially at low speeds. Does anyone know a trick to quiet them down? The most noise seams to be coming from the rear by the shackles.

Try regreasing all the rubber bushings and inspect them to see if they are worn out. It also wouldn't hurt to tighten everything down to spec, including the shackles and u-bolts.

Check the plastic spacers between the leafs to see if they are worn. I also chased a squeaky noise and found a rock had wedged itself between the frame mount and the spring.
